There were many genocides in the 20th century. The one that I have chosen is the Armenians in Turkey. I have chosen this event that occurred because it has many events and history that occurred that many people don't know about. What occurred in between 1915-1918 two million Armenains living in Turkey was eliminated from their homeland and there were forced deportations and massacres. The Ottoman empire was very strong and started to deteriorate as a whole. The empire was then challenged by the european army. They lost battle after battle.
